Banana Bread

I actually found this recipe on the box, and shared it with Mom – who loved it.

Banana Nut Bread

  • 1 1/3-cup mashed ripe bananas (2-3 large)
  • 2/3-cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 2/3-cups of Bisquick(TM)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Grease the bottom of a 9-inch x 5-inch x 3-inch loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350. Stir banana, sugar, milk, oil, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl. Stir in Bisquick and nuts. Mix well. Pour into pan and bake 50-60 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in the pan on a rack, then gently loosen the sides of the loaf from the pan and remove. Cool completely before slicing. Serve with cream cheese or butter spread. Delicious warm!
